Jacqueline Akyuz is a Senior Communication Studies major in the Public and Mass track. Her previous experience includes an impressive internship with MedAvante, a pharmaceutical services organization whose commitment and passion is to improve the science of psychiatric drug trials. During her time at MedAvante, Jacqueline has spent much time creating and executing surveys, creating spreadsheets to track initiations and scheduling, and video editing. Her internship has complimented her classroom studies at TCNJ very nicely, giving her practical application of learned knowledge.
During her time at The College of New Jersey, Jacqueline has accumulated and explored a wide variety of interests, including photography, web/graphic design, public relations and event planning. Her creativity, artistry and talent makes itself apparent in each one of her photographs, or artistic projects. Her ability to speak through art has become extremely refined.
Upon her graduation in May, Jacqueline hopes to obtain a position that incorporates all of her interests, and skills that she has learned during her time at TCNJ. While she has not pinpointed one exact field in which she would like to work, she knows that there are many areas in which she'd like to try.
Jacqueline currently resides in her newly purchased house in Bordentown, NJ, with her husband and two children. Being a part of the Festival of the Arts event planning team has made her last semester at TCNJ a memorable one. She would like to thank all those who made the event possible, and wishes much success for all future Festivals of the Arts!
